Welcome to our office!
Located just west of Adel's historic square, our building has operated as a dental office since 1949. A mix of old and new, Matta Family Dental offers patients like you modern dental technology with digital x-rays and intraoral cameras in a classic setting. We strive to provide individualized care, taking the time to educate you and help you make informed decisions about your treatment. We welcome patients of all ages, from 1 year old to 101 years old and beyond. We love new patients!

Covid-19 Information
COVID-19 has created a "new normal" in our community. It is clear that the danger of infection is present and persistent. We at Matta Family Dental have and will always put the safety of our patients, our staff, and our families at the top of our mind every single day, both in and out of the office. Our policies are in place to protect everyone and they will be followed. These are the policies we instituted upon reopening. They will be utilized for the foreseeable future, even should the emergency declaration expire and we deem it prudent.
This includes:
• Screening questions to keep potentially sick people home
• Not utilizing the waiting room and having people wait in their cars and call when they arrive
• Scheduling patients so that they are not entering or exiting at the same time
• Plexiglass screens at the front desk to minimize aerosols
• Temperature checks and hand sanitizer upon entering
• Having everyone wear a mask until they are in a treatment room
• Closing doors of treatment rooms during treatment to prevent the spread of aerosols
• Having all employees wear masks, jackets, and face shields during any contact with patients
• Wiping down all shared surfaces in common areas with Caviwipes after every patient, including: all door handles and knobs, pens, the signature pad, the credit card machine, countertops, sink knobs, light switches, the toilet seat, etc
• Having patients swish with Peroxyl mouthrinse before any procedure
• Continual handwashing and hand sanitizer use throughout the day
Things to expect:
-We are keeping the office cooler in order to offset the extra warmth of the personal protective equipment we must wear. Feel free to bring a jacket if you would like one for your comfort.
-If you have a mask, please bring it with you. If not, we can provide you one
-If your answers on the screening questions raise concerns about a possible point of exposure or your personal health, we may ask you to reschedule for the safety of all
We appreciate your honesty and cooperation. We only wish to care for our wonderful patients in the safest environment possible, and we need your help to do so. Please answer the screening questions truthfully and completely, so we may protect you, ourselves, our families, and our other patients.
