Technology
Our office employs technology in order to make our patients comfortable, keep accurate records, and provide the best care. Here are some of the technologies our office utilizes
Trios Digital Impressions
Trios is a digital impression system with a wireless wand scanner. If you need a crown or bridge, traditionally you would need a mouthful of goopy impression material to make a mold to send to a dental lab. With the scanner, a 3D model is built in the computer by scanning your teeth. This is then transmitted to the lab digitally.
Intraoral Cameras
Dexis Digital Xrays
Digital xrays are made using a sensor that plugs directly into the computer. They are very beneficial in many ways. They allow us to see the xray instantly, as opposed to having to wait for traditional film to process. They also require less radiation than old film xrays used to. Many people find them more comfortable, as the sensor has smooth, rounded edges and not sharp points. Because they are on the computer, we can also show you your xrays and send them to specialists more easily if necessary.

Dentrix Dental Software
Computerized records like Dentrix are helpful. It allows us to document more thoroughly than paper charts. There is no concern about illegible handwriting since all the records are typed. It also provides us with your dental history at a glance, allowing us to be more efficient and make better treatment recommendations for you.
